Our Foundation Registered Miniature Schnauzer
COOKIE

Sweet Pup Schnauzers have two AKC Registered and one unregistered female Schnauzer. Our toy size miniature is named COOKIE (8 to 10 lbs.), and her color is Black & White Parti, her picture shown here. She has a mega coat which I keep shaved most of the time because she loves to be outside, and she loves dirt (did I say we live on a farm).  COOKIE has given us many beautiful puppies since she began breeding in 2022.  She produces a high quality, mega coated puppy in a variety of colors and sizes.  You can see some of her past puppies on our “Past Puppy” page.
I don’t keep a male onsite at this time.  However, I use a local Breeder who is a friend of mine.  She takes into consideration my female’s breeding, genetic background, and her size as well as color choices to determine what male we will use. She only breeds AKC registered puppies and has been breeding Schnauzers for many years and she has the experience I can depend on. She has been a great assistance and mentor to me, encouraging me and advising me all along the path.

 OUR UNREGISTERED FEMALE

TINY is our unregistered salt & pepper female. She has three new puppies
(pictures not yet available)

TINY, is Sweet Pup Schnauzers unregister female and is a third generation purebred Miniature Schnauzer.  We owned her Grandmother and her Mother, whom we still own but has now retired.  She is a peculiar young lady because she dances over her food before she eats it.  She has produced some outstanding puppies. You may wonder why I would keep an unregistered female for breeding. Because she is a beautiful mega coated female and some people are looking for a lesser expensive option.

All our Sweet Pup Schnauzers have their tails docked and dew claws removed between 4 and 5 days old and are wormed regularly starting at 2 weeks old. They are vaccinated at 5 weeks with Neo Par and then they have their Vet check at our local Veterinarian, at 7 or 8 weeks at which time they get their first puppy vaccine.  Only then are they ready for their forever homes between 8 and 12 weeks old. Their Vet checkup will record their weight, check for parasites, their heart rate and temperature are in normal range. For males the determine if testicles have dropped normally. They make sure their eyes bright and clear and checked for umbilical hernias. Given a clean bill of health and they are started on Advantage Plus Multi for flea and heart worm prevention.

The puppies are neurologically stimulated and as soon as they are old enough, they are socialized with other dogs, people, children and outside influences, as much as we can, at the same time being cautious to safely expose them to the outside influences. We start the puppies on NuVet Plus Canine Supplement as soon as they can chew. We strive for producing healthy, well-adjusted puppies with super coats and sweet temperaments. We offer a 2-year conditional health guarantee which can be reviewed upon request.

DEEVA OUR LATEST BREEDER FEMALE

Sweet Pup Schnauzer's new addition is  DEEVA, also an AKC Registered Miniature Schnauzer.  Her color is a Liver Parti. She has super mega coat with light brown eyes, giving her a very unique look.  DEEVA has only produced one litter for me so far, since we got her as an adult.  But now  she is expecting a new litter on December 12th.  Her first litter was three beauties. A liver, a liver parti and a black & white parti. She  is bred to the same male as before, Nirvana, also an AKC Registered liver male but with blue eyes. He is from the local Breeder in our area that I've previously mentioned. We often get some teacup size puppies when we breed to Nirvana, so I can't wait to see what DEEVA is going to give me this time.

Just a quick word about the teacup size.  A teacup usually grows up to be between 4 & 7 pounds as adults.  They are never sold with breeding rights because of their size.  They are tiny and precious.  I have not found them to be any less healthy than other puppies, however they are a bit more delicate at the beginning and therefore I hold them for at least 10 weeks before allowing them to go to their new homes.  Afterwards, I find they can be as hardy and feisty as any of my other puppies.  Teacups are typically highly sought after and more costly, as people love the idea of traveling with them. Therefore, if you are looking to purchase a teacup, it is advisable to get on my waiting list to assure yourself an opportunity to be notified when I have a litter with one or two. If you are interested you would want to put an advance deposit to secure one of your choice once you have been notified of their birth. Teacups and Toy sizes are still registered as a Miniature Schnauzers because AKC does not register based on size but based on the breed.
